Humans are such hesitant, faint-hearted creatures. When possibilities exist, we procrastinate or are stopped dead in our tracks by fear of hurt or disappointment. How often have we deprived ourselves and others of an opportunity to discover each other and explore the future together? How often have we refused to forgive others’ mistakes and shortcomings, shutting the door on a relationship because of some stubbornly-held prejudice? How many times have we regretted not grasping those opportunities when they existed, hoping to be given another chance in our next life?
